Lost but now found..

Hey Guys…

Hope you all are doing great. Well, I am worn out writing apology notes for not being active on my blog since months for now. I kept wondering for myself as to why am I not able to make any time for myself to come and speak out on my blog.

I kept wondering on what could be the reason behind it and asking lot of questions to myself. Could it be because I am a lot stuck with my day-to-day activities revolving around my workplace or for various personal priorities?

After a long wait to figure out what exactly was blocking me out from speaking on my blog. I came across this term called – Writers Block…

Yes, there was a time when I had first begun my blogging journey exactly a year back. And, I use to wonder if there is really anything like this in real? How can anyone get drained out of ideas to write or speak?

And after doing a little bit of research on the same made me realize that what phase of blogging I was going through is what exactly means this term “Writers Block”.  

Definition of Writers Block goes something like this,

Writer’s block is a condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work, or experiences a creative slowdown. The condition ranges in difficulty from coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce a work for years

And so I did dig into this topic a little more to see what could be the probable reason for this and how long can this last for an individual?

It was observed that, this could be possibly because of no inspiration, no time or no ideas and it could last for nearly few months and if it goes on to nearly a year-long gap then it will be coined as “Writers burnout”.

I thank god that it was just a block for me than a burnout.. ! 😀 

Anyways, I decided to write a post on this and let everyone know the techniques I used and came out of this phase to get started back again.

  1. Talk to an imaginary Friend – This will definitely help you get some boost to get started all over again.
  2. Stop writing for a while – It’s totally okay. It is alright to stop rather than just write anything that is of no value or crappy altogether.
  3. Take a short trip all by yourself or with your friends – It doesn’t really matter if you can just chill yourself and breathe to feel all alive back again.
  4. Reread your superhero posts – yes, this will definitely get you kick started to start penning your thoughts back again. And for me the post that did the trick for me was this –  Cold Coffee & French Fries.

As for now. Regrets are part and parcel of every one of our lives. But, the question is. Do they really need to be part mine or your life anyway?!

How many us do we really know we will regret for something that we did (at the time of actually doing it, be it anything) or failed to do (something that we wanted to do) in the past?

Not really right?

Yes, it’s for that moment.. in the heat of the moment you end up doing something that you may love or hate later! Or, You may also end up not doing something that you actually wanted to do. But, failed to do because of various reasons like may it be financial, mental or any reason for that matter.

For that instance, If you love what you did and realize that everything was good and you loved it at the end of day. Fair enough. All is cool and life is awesome.

But, what if you hate what you did sometime ago and you realize you shouldn’t have done it. Or, For that matter. You feel that you should have done something before hand and now your feeling all bad and uneasy for not doing something.

Now? how do you react to it? Get sad, depressed, feel low.. thinking that you shouldn’t have done it and all? Well, all these thoughts are practical enough that do gush through our mind.

Here is the trick, instead of dealing it in a way of regret and feel all low and sad for all those things. Why don’t you try taking it in a whole lot of different aspect and take it to be a life lesson and get positive on it.

It’s fine, to do something and realize later you shouldn’t have done it. (But, remember not to repeat the same thing again and again)

It’s fine, to not do something and realize you should have actually done it. (But, be sure of doing what it takes to do all that you actually wanted to over the period of time)

When you start taking all the regrets as part of learning and move on with your life. It’s then when you start enjoying it rather than feeling all low and sad. Would like to end this note after I quote the beautiful statement by Jennifer Aniston.

Wake Up.

It’s the most difficult thing to do every single morning. It is same with almost every one of us.

Don’t you also feel sometimes, that it is really necessary for you to go and get up early and start getting your things done. Have everything for a day to be in place. Nothing should get delayed. Every single thing you do should be right. There should not be any loop-hole in any work you do at office or be it at any place.

(All these things will be running around in our mind)

Having all this gush of thoughts in mind, you end up deciding that from tomorrow you will wake up at 6.00 am sharp and get your things going. Set your alarm at 6.00 am and go to sleep at around 12.30 am midnight.

But, what do you really do?

Did you really act on it and wake up early the next morning as per your plan? and try to fit everything in place as you had earlier thought?


What did you do?

Procrastinated. Stopped the alarm ringing at 6.00 am and snoozed it till 6.30 am.

Buzzz!! Alarm started ringing at 6.30 am and their you snooze it again and set to 7.00 am.

This continues… until you really wake up and realize you are already late for all things you had thought of doing today!

End of the Day! you still are the same, there isn’t any difference in your day-to-day activities. All the thinking you had put in. All the efforts you had put in to plan for the next day is all in vain. Unless and until you actually act on it and not procrastinate.

Well, I agree it is really difficult to change yourself. Changing one’s routine is not so easy. But, I believe it’s not too difficult either! All you need to do is. Be hopeful that you will make it. Have faith in whatever you decide you will eventually do it. Only when you plan and act, its then when you really be able to achieve all that you want to do in your life.

At the end, Be Courageous. Never Give Up on what you really want in your life!

Courage doesn’t always Roar. Sometimes Courage is the quiet voice, at the end of the day saying. “I WILL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW”

So, always keep this in your mind. 

We are what we do on a regular basis. Train yourself not to procrastinate but to act on what you planned to do. All this is really possible, when you listen to the wake up call and start acting on it.

Just & Only.

First post after a long time! 🙂 Hope you all will agree with what I have penned down.

We often try taking somethings too lightly.

I just heard about this in one of the videos I was watching today morning. How important are these two words “Just” and “Only” in everything that we do.

Hard to believe. But it’s so true that these words have much greater impact on what we do.

For Example: Let me take the same example I heard of which made sense to me.

It’s Just a Game / It’s Only a Job! – Sounds so unimportant, also feels like it’s not that important for the one saying it.

On the other hand.

Its Just a Game / Its Only a Job!  (Read this without the word Just / Only in it) – Sounds so important, feels it’s really important for the one saying it.

Because there will be somebody else who will be waiting for such Game/ Job and turn it into a Career. Unlike the one who is playing a Game or doing a Job just for the sake of doing it.

Sometimes, these words will also end up being a trap in disguise!

Yes, remember anytime telling to yourself?

  • Let me try smoking Just one Cigarette! (Consequence – Many end up smoking it for lifetime)
  • Let me hang on Instagram/Facebook Only for 5 mins and then I’ll get back to my studies! (Consequence – You don’t turn up to your studies for a much longer time maybe even an hour or more)

Falling prey to these words, we all sometime or the other usually will be a victim of such decisions. It show mentally strong are you in taking a firm decision.

Be sure on what you’re doing. Be firm in what you want to do. Just don’t fall a prey to these words over and over again!

Be Strong!

Well. In this post I would like to talk about all that I think, which makes one Be Strong!

It is something, that I have been doing these days. This is what life has taught me in a very harsh way though! But, I am thankful of it. It has made me realize the very fact that how strong I am!

Yes, most of us do come across such instances where in there is simply no other go for you. Than to Be Strong and Move On!

“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice” – Bob Marley

Many adversities or problems or situations does occur in our life. It may be anything (varies from person to person). So when it occurs, does it mean its the end of your life? You can never overcome it? It’s highly impossible for you to get back to normal once again?

What do you do in such situations??

Sit back and keep worrying about it?  – This will not solve the problem. Instead, it would worsen the problem more! 

Instead, get back on your toes! Be Strong! say to yourself these words (sounds silly, but really works! it did for me at least) “You cannot breakdown! You need to get strong and get going. Start fresh again. There is nothing that can be break you down!” Definitely, saying these to yourself will surely help you to overcome the problem and Move On!

Thinking to quit your life for the problem that has occurred?  – This would be a foolish thing to do! Just don’t waste it by being coward and quit things off!

Instead, Life is just once! Be Strong! Try to embrace it. Be hopeful. Start reading some motivational quotes, books, you will not only start reading it but will undoubtedly start loving it. This will for sure make you feel better and will help you overcome your problems and Move On!

Questioning yourself as to why did this happen to me only? – Well, the answer to this question is still unknown to many. Only if you discover an answer to this the problem wont get solved!

Instead, of asking this question. You can definitely get back on it. Be Strong! and say “Whatever has happened was bound to happen and so it did. Now, I need to work on it to make it better and I will surely do it!” Find it by your own, how talking to yourself and believing in yourself  will help you come out of any adversity and Be Strong and Move on! Haha Oh

Conclusion: “Have I not commanded you Be Strong! and Courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discourages, for the Lord your God is with you always!” – Joshua 1:9

And always! don’t forget to believe in yourself. Because true strength of an individual is only known and nurtured by one’s own self and not by anyone else!

Once, you have mastered to value yourself and believing in yourself! No doubt. You become strong by your own! You will not even get to know about it. Things around you will start to change. Problems revolving around you will start disappearing. Life will get much better and smoother.
