I am writing this post today. Not because of any specific reason, but just to express myself and what I truly feel sometimes.
Being human it’s true every one of you go through hardships, troublesome time, confused, do something which you don’t want to do but eventually have to do because there is no other go, may it be for your good or bad, completely pressurised and won’t understand how will you ever be able to look up and face the world around you.
Just because of this reason that you are surrounded with so many people around you. It’s natural to hold yourself back and make yourself strong enough that you appear all rock solid, emotionally stable and strong human in front of everyone and also you tend to prove it to yourself. True. Undoubtedly, you must get strong to face the world around you.
But, amidst of all this there comes a time when you feel deep down within you that all you want to do once is TO CRY OUT LOUD.
You know, it’s really very difficult to actually cry your heart out when your surrounded with so many people who care about you, who can’t see you break down like that and that’s why you stand up again and cry within yourself in the closet of your own self, without letting anyone know that you actually did cry out some-night, some-day or whenever possible.
But, doing this will burden your heart more and more. As days pass by, you will seem to be rock solid in front of everyone except for the one person and that one person is YOU who knows that even you want to cry yourself out and lighten yourself.
Trust me when I say this, when you really make some time for yourself and spend some time alone and rethink, relieve yourself from such heartaches by crying yourself out is when you actually feel much much better.
I wish, I could do that too sometime soon. You should also try this out and maybe then you may feel much much better before crying your heart out.
To all the brave hearts out there, who are staying strong for themselves, their family, their close ones, their friends or be it for anyone you love.
Honest opinion. Not being judgemental. But trying to be practical. π
Sometimes we are too shy to cry out our sorrow

Very true. π Instead of feeling shy and burdening yourself more with any pain. It’s always better to get out somewhere all by yourself and cry out your sorrow would make you feel much better than before right?

A great post! Reading a good book, having a run in the woods, practising yoga are my ways of escaping the world. Travelling is great too but itβs not always feasible.

And honesty I have some writings that are a bit dark sometimes when I have hatred in my heart, I filter which to post in WP though.. a good post to start a discussion π.

Yea gracy. But do you think the above post is a bit dark? Because honestly what I felt was to let others know that letting your emotions will really help you get better and feel much better though not in front of everyone, atleast by getting remote from people around and let your emotions flow. Right?

It’s not dark at all Richard, cyring stimulates our parasympathetic nervous system (PN) and this play a big role in recovery and relaxation. Although if done habitually it could be a sign of depression, which I think needs to tap a professional help.

Sorrows are there in most of our lives for sure. But, true most of the times we do forget how to cry at the same time when you actually spend some time alone for yourself. Maybe it will let you feel light. Just a thought though π

I can feel all the emotions I go through while I was reading your post. Not being able to express oneself in crowd, holding back yourself for the fear of what others are gonna think about you and all those pent up emotions that’s ends in a hearty outburst when I am alone……It’s beautifully written. π

Crying is helpful if you are alone at a place… or people who don’t name crying as creating unnecessary drama
LikeLiked by 1 person
True.. but if in case you are surrounded by such people who thinks it’s unnecessary drama and all.. better take some time out away from all of them and just cry out.. and make peace with it. Definitely it’ll help out. π
